Studio Hire Booking Policy

To secure your studio booking, a 25% booking fee is required on the same day your enquiry is made.

Payment Terms

A 20% non-refundable booking fee must be paid on the day.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 24 hours before the scheduled studio hire.
Bookings are confirmed only after the booking fee has been received.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made less than 72 hours are non-refundable.
If the remaining balance has already been paid and the booking is cancelled less than 72 hours before the session, no refund will be issued.

If you need to change your booking date, please contact us as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to studio availability.

Rain Machine FX - How it works

💧 Quick Guide: Operating the Water/Rain Rig

The FX Studio Water Rig is designed for powerful performance and seamless creative control.

1. Power & Water Flow

The entire system is incredibly easy to start and features a robust recycling capability for long shoots.

Activate the Rig: Locate and press the Power Button to start the main pump.
Performance: The industrial-grade pump is capable of cycling 13,000 Litres of water per hour, ensuring a powerful and consistent rain effect.
Water Basin: The main basin is large enough to easily hold a full barrow of water and maintain water levels.
Recycling: Water can be recycled and cleaned for use over longer photoshohoots, ensuring you always have a pristine water source.

2. Lighting Control

All primary lighting is pre-mounted and controlled instantly via a single tablet, offering immediate creative flexibility.

Primary Lights: Six (6) lights are fixed directly to the rig structure.
Control Tablet: Use the dedicated tablet to operate these fixed lights.
Seamless Adjustments: The tablet allows you to seamlessly change:
- Colors
- Power / Brightness
- Hue
- Saturation

3. Adding Extra Lighting

You have several easy options for enhancing the look beyond the fixed rig lights.

Strip Lights: Add a dynamic look using the three (3) strip lights, which are operated via a separate remote control.
Sophisticated Looks: For custom lighting setups, utilize our other light modifiers and studio equipment to achieve a more sophisticated look.
